ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our dynamic team of Designers, Historians and Documentation Specialists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design and historic preservation, with a passion for historic sites. This role requires proficiency in various design software and the ability to collaborate effectively with consultants and design team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and present architectural designs that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

Analyze existing buildings for deterioration and deficiencies. Represent these in graphic and written format.

Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and design tasks.

Collaborate with engineers and construction managers to ensure seamless integration of all project components.

Maintain compliance with building codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Proven experience (5+ years) in architectural design and historic preservation.

Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

A degree in Architecture is required; licensure is preferred but not mandatory.
