Frank Lloyd Wright
The central core of Florida Southern College is formed by the largest single collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings in existence. Wright designed eighteen buildings for the Methodist college between 1938 and 1955, eleven of which were actually constructed. Although these buildings are little known outside of the circle of Wright admirers, Wright himself considered his design for the campus as one of the most important in his professional career.
